A Positive Alternative To Exclusion

At Open Cast we’re passionate about positive achievement.  We work hard to provide the support and training that young people need to re-engage with mainstream education, employment and training.  It’s our job to help young people realise their potential to build a better future - because young people are the future.

All courses are run in line with school term times in order to provide a seamless fit with the existing structure and allowing an easy fit for school based referrals.  We support young people aged 13 – 25.     

Based in central Doncaster, we’re accessible to all.  Our accredited training courses, work based learning, workshops and events are run from two centres:

• Our Activity Centre in Marshgate is equipped with a gym, training kitchen, beauty therapy rooms, DJ booth, motor mechanic workshop, and counselling and training rooms.

• We also have an Outdoor Centre in Hyde park, equipped with a training room, greenhouse, raised beds, ponds, small animal pens and sculpture park.
